Are you a man of truth? Carefully ponder what Jesus said about such a person:
He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him. (John 7:18)
The determining factor to know if one is a man of truth or not is: Is that person working for the honor of Jesus or himself? The motive behind one’s actions and goals reveals the answer. So, are you a man of truth or something much less?
One day this short life will be over. All temporal earthly goals and achievements of man will be meaningless at our Judgment before God. The only thing that will matter is doing God’s will:
God will give to each person according to what he has done. To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. (Rom 2:6-8)
Will you get eternal life or God’s wrath and anger? The choice is yours.

What is eternal sin? Jesus was the only one who mentions it in the bible, as well as providing us with the explanation of what it is. Anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit (which is the same as eternal sin) will never be forgiven. Other types of sins can be forgiven including adultery, murder, and even disowning Jesus, but not that form of blasphemy. The ones who actually committed eternal sin accused Jesus of having a demon and believed it was by the power of the devil he cast out demons and performed his miracles (Mark 3:22-30). Only eternal sin cannot be forgiven. Those who have lived in all other types of sin can get saved.
Dan Corner is a holiness preacher who discusses this and many other important issues relevant for Christians on his website. For those who want to be saved but who fear they have committed too many sins, he shows from the Bible how others have found peace with God.
The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible is one of the most commonly accepted English translations of Scripture, even though it is filled with archaic language similar to Shakespeare. It was originally translated in 1611 and often just referred to as the “Authorized Version,” especially by devotees.
There are some people who consider the KJV to be the only trusted translation available in the entire world! Some have gone so far as to say the KJV 1611 is more accurate than the original Greek and Hebrew manuscripts they were translated from. Others have said if one reads only Chinese, he needs to learn English so he can then read the KJV and learn God’s truth about eternal life! Such extreme views do exist in the King James Only camp.
Dan Corner discusses the King James Version as well as some people who are KJV Only teachers. Dan Corner believes reading the KJV is very hard to understand and very few KJV only people can even pronounce the strange words found in it. Visit Evangelical Outreach.
With our global financial problems and the numerous wars and rumors of more wars continuing, many people feel they are seeing the mark of the beast come to life. Various preachers are saying the time of the antichrist is upon us. This antichrist conspiracy is the topic of many sermons. In reality, when that day comes, the whole world will be under the control of the antichrist. There are numerous verses in the Bible about recognizing the mark of the beast, which show that the time of the antichrist is not yet upon us, but is certainly getting closer.
Holiness preacher Dan Corner uses the Bible to explain various misconceptions about the mark of the beast and the antichrist conspiracy on his website. To learn more about this popular issue and the end times, visit http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/
